wind from the southeast today, so rough that it rattled the flowers, and finally broke one of the glads. i first thought i would need to cut it, but then didn't have the heart, and so now tried to band-aid it with multi-function-tape.
the good news is that the XXL-sunflower is all unimpressed by the wind so far. it's the yellow spot on the left edge of the photo. it's about 2 metres high.
