moontree, summer

saturday morning - and the moon is still up, there in the west. 'chance', i think, remembering my failed attempt at catching the moon 2 days ago. so i take an almost-full-moon picture. it comes out just fine, without any architectural ghosts this time.

then i try a cropping. and end up with 2 versions of the 1 photo, unable to decide which to include for today.

here the cropping - it reminds me of the photo i took half a year ago: "moontree". it's the same tree. the only difference: the slightly different size and position of the moon. and the angle of the fir twigs, heavy from snow in winter, reaching up towards the sky in summer.
