this world, in a list

the name of the list sounds like an abstract: "countries of the world sorted by their gross domestic product at purchasing power parity per capita."

it starts with figures in the 80.000 range and spirals downwards to a 1/400-fraction of the amount, and includes a map that breaks things down to above/below average. of course, neither the list nor the map includes any connections, reasons, causes and effects.

figures to ponder on: countries by GDP (PPP).
