2 sides & the benefits of failure

Two Sides
friday. - last week, this time, i was in Essen at the Comic fair, visited a steampunk unesco world heritage and came across graphic novels of all different kinds while the weather was late-summer like, more about that here: Comic Coal Metropolis + Graphic Novels of the Dickens, Steampunk and Alpine kind.

yesterday, i was in Stuttgart for a longer meeting, and afterwards walked along the Schlossplatz. the moon was out, the sun was an hour from setting, the shadows already long. i took some photos, remembering this weeks's photo challenge at wordpress "Silhouette". the larger version of it is online in the 100 days blog that i probably will revisit and revive again, not on a daily basis, but maybe a couple of times a week.

the second photo above is the same central place, just from a shifted viewpoint, which made me think again how different the same place / happening can feel and look from different angles.

tomorrow, in a counterpart of weathers, there is snowrain to come.
