links that touched me: february 2014

often, when i come across an interesting link / video / story that touches me, i copy the link to blog about it a later point. yet by then, there's already another interesting link that is waiting... to keep the links from vanishing unblogged, i now started this "links-that-touched-me" series
  • Transforming Problems: a different view on problems, by Thubten Chodron. "I assume everyone here has problems..."
  • Noticing the journey a blog entry from Weavers Journal: "Every day is a journey, and the journey itself is home.” - Basho
  • Thailand - In the Garden of the Dragon  by Justin Heaney: "Filmed in and around Bangkok, Pai, Mae Hong Son and the Thailand / Myanmar border This edit is an attempt at re-creating the visceral nature of my experience there."
  • Out with the Old - a poetry podcast by Poetry Foundation: "Dorothea Lasky's charming, powerful poetry takes readers by surprise." (also, great to discover the Poetry podcast series altogether)
  • and a fun one: Guardians of the Galaxy - second class superheroes, hooked on a feeling & high on believing...
