changing skies & transforming problems

after a week of sunny skies and warm days, the weather decided to change just in time for the weekend: so now, from friday to saturday, temperatures dropped and clouds moved in. rain is on the way. just to add a bit of "unfairness" to it, forecasts guess that the nice weather will return on: Monday.

driving along the road, listening to the forecasts, i remembered the words of my former yoga teacher: "It is like it is." also, the weather teaches that there is just so much we can plan: there is also a factor that is out of our reach. on the other hand, it's up to us how to react to it: we can be frustrated, or we can let it be like it is, and let the day be beautiful and open nevertheless. which probably goes for all kinds of situations.

connected to that, there's a video i returned to a couple of times in the last weeks, while dealing with people who have a gift for causing problems. the video offers a different view on problems: Transforming Problems  by Thubten Chodron. it starts with the line: "I assume everyone here has problems.."

and a sky link, one that offers all kind of skies, from places all around the world: skywatch friday

I've always been fond of the adage - "if you want the weather to change, just wait a bit".
